I'd been eyeing this ever since I bought my Weekender a few years ago. It was worth the wait. The leather is beautiful, supple, and the materials and craftsmanship top notch. It is larger than I expected, and is the perfect size for a 3-4 day trip. Highly recommend.

I shopped around quite a bit before deciding on this bag. What sold me was the separate laptop compartment as I generally travel with my laptop. The bag is every bit as advertised and the quality is exceptional.

Beautiful bag: Loved it, but it was too big for me

I ordered this bag as a piece of carry-on luggage. This bag was way too heavy and large for a petite woman needing a carry-on for under the seat. However, it is indeed a beautiful bag and would be perfect for a weekend getaway via car. This was my mistake as I did not check the dimensions closely prior to purchasing. As I only required bag to hold my laptop and some spare clothes, I exchanged this bag for a messenger bag. Customer service was amazing and the exchange was painless.

Beautiful piece

The perfect to size for overhead bins on flights and trains. I did my research and compared to similar quality leather duffles out there, this bag should cost well over $1,000.

Quality

I own a few Etsy leather bags and now I know the difference between true quality and just "so so". The G&G leather comes from Italy and you can tell the difference between this leather and other leather right out of the box. The G&G has a nice smooth, supple finish. The zippers are also smooth and sturdy and the hardware is substantial. Highly recommended.

For when work/travel mesh

The quality on this bag is a given. If you don't own a G&G bag, let me tell you, it's well worth the cost. What differentiates this Weekender from others (besides the quality) is the amount of space. Because of the shape, it's awkward to carry a laptop inside most duffle/weekend bags. In the past, I'd carry a duffle from my clothing and slim briefcase for my laptop, charger, and pens. The space in the Weekender works perfectly and eliminates the need to carry 2 separate bags.

A little heavy but great quality

The Weekender is a bit of a beast. The leather is thick and sturdy, as is the hardware. That said, the bag is heavy, especially if you're used to carrying a nylon or canvas duffle.
